Instructions for Invited Presenters

Dear Presenter at the 4th FEV conference,

Please find below the instructions for invited presentations.

You can find the session in which your presentation is scheduled on the website of the conference and in the field scientific programme. Please make your presence known to the session chair(s) at least 15 minutes before your session starts and be present during the entire session in which your presentation is scheduled.

Invited presentations are scheduled for 30 minutes each. It is up to the session organiser to decide how to introduce discussion time. This can be scheduled within the individual thirty minute slot, or the length of each talk can be reduced to allow a discussion at the end of the session. There’s a strict time schedule and the chair(s) will carefully keep track of this.

Available in each conference room:

  • PC with Windows, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
  • A laser pointer will be available

Options for presentations:

  • PowerPoint presentation
  • Presentation in PDF format

Speakers' Ready Desk

A Speakers' Ready Desk – will be provided for oral presenters and will be made available every day throughout the meeting.

If you are using a PowerPoint presentation or a presentation in PDF format, please note that you need to bring it on a CD-ROM (not a ZIP disk) or on a USB stick and load it on the congress’ computer at the Speakers’ Ready Desk. We prefer you to do this the day before your presentation or, if necessary, early in the morning of the day of your presentation.
